Autocam Medical Offering Extensive Compensation Package for Senior Manufacturing Engineer

PLYMOUTH, MA—(JANUARY 14, 2021)—Autocam Medical, a global contract manufacturer of precision, surgical and medical components and devices, recently announced that they are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support their leadership team with Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) projects.

In addition to having a thorough understanding of CPI, candidates must possess superior analytical, communication, project management, research and development, and documentation skills. They must also be capable of multi-tasking and adapting to evolving environments and priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software and SolidWorks is also preferred.

“We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer that is adept in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies,” said David Francis, the General Manager of Autocam Medical’s Plymouth location. “We’ve based our operations on these philosophies for decades and we need someone capable of collaborating with our team to continue streamlining and improving our business structure, our productivity, the quality of our processes, and our overall bottom line.”

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree. A degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering is preferred, however, those with a Bachelor’s Degree in other engineering programs will be considered if they have more than five years of relevant manufacturing experience. Basic knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) ASME Y14.5 and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for Medical Devices FDA 21 CFR Part 820 Quality System Regulation and ISO 13485 Medical Devices – Quality Management Systems or experience working in a regulated industry is also desired.
