Autocam Medical produces a variety of custom implants for hip, shoulder and extremity joint replacement whether it be metal-on-metal (M-O-M) or metal-poly-metal (M-P-M). Our experience with femoral heads, used in hip replacement surgery, and humeral heads, used in shoulder surgery, has enabled us to expand into joint replacement and trauma implants for ankles and other extremities, such as wrists, hands and feet. Using advanced 5-axis CNC milling technology and dedicated secondary finishing processes, Autocam Medical produces highly polished, articulating implants and plates with multi-face, three-dimensional contours and compound angles. We also offer proprietary processes, such as spherical lapping, beading and polishing for implants with micro-precise control of GD&T, and other features including size, sphericity, and reflectivity.

Materials

We machine all medical grades of implant and non-implant Stainless Steel, Titanium, Cobalt Chrome Moly (CCM/CCM+), Nitinol (NiTi), Exotic Alloys, Aluminum, Brass, and Polymers including PEEK, Polyethylene (UHMWPE) and others.
